Happiness is Nowhere

A wonderful piece by Mitch Teemley…

Mitch Teemley

Happiness is nowhere.

Happiness is now           here.

What’s the difference? Only air

That sometimes fills the space for years

But know that it in time will come

Although its presence may be fleeting

They say it lingers long for some

But others say it dodges meetings

Perhaps while we cry, “Where? If only…

When will this endless waiting end?”

It’s simply feeling used and lonely

And waiting for a faithful friend
