The endless miles apart,
cannot still their beating hearts.
The power of their newfound love,
carried forth on the wings of a dove.
Their smiles, when together,
tell a tale of their own.
Carefree and contented,
together they have grown.
The trials and tribulations
of their journey travelled, past.
The epic is now written;
book two is here at last!
Her waiting days are gone,
the distant echo of a starting gun
and no longer just a hiker,
for she has her trusty biker.
Riding off into the sunset
with the wild wind in their hair
and in the world they leave behind,
no more tears and not a care.
Joyful smiles abound them,
along their wondrous ways.
A long sought after eternity,
of life and loving days.
